Our Club

Sheffield Tigers Junior Netball Club was founded by Crystal Buchanan in 2016.  Crystal has a passion for netball and is an experienced primary school teacher with over 12 years teaching experience and a background in PE.  On noticing the lack of opportunities for children in Sheffield to play netball, Crystal applied to England Netball for funding to start a new junior club.  Funding was granted and very quickly the club began to gain a lot of interest.  The club has grown from just 18 members to become an Affiliated England Netball Club with over 200 members.  The club is inclusive, providing quality coaching to children of all abilities aged 7 to 18.

We have built strong relationships with other local netball clubs and arrange competitive match opportunities throughout the season.

We also hold social events so the children can relax, have fun and get to know each other better.  These include an end of season awards evening for all members and their parents as well as a Christmas social event and a Spring fundraiser.
